Buff Gardeners

This group is intended for those who enjoy the natural aspect of gardening, and don't feel the need to cover their natural state while tending their plants. This group may be used to exchange ideas, and success stories, and of course...recipes, that have been brought fourth from the earth.

this year i thanks to continued spread of the bamboo grove and stratigically parking my car I have pretty much created enough privacy to mow both sections of my backyard in the buff. About 1 hour and 20 min walk behind self propelled. But there is the first few strips that if someone looked as they went by they would see that i was naked. Today I started to mow then realized the school is back in session and the someone
who might go by would be a bus full of school kids. So i slipped on my barely there shorts and began to mow., Sure enough the 2nd strip i mowed the bus went by. Then I stripped and finished the task.

RE:good decision

I'm happy that you thought through the school timing thing and were prepared for that possible exposure. Back in my crazy youth (aka four years ago) I would commonly drive nude but always kept something to toss over the lap within reach just in case of school buses and other high-profile vehicles. Kids are often bored in those big yellow monsters and would very likely be staring down at me. I like to be seen naked but not like that! Mowing the lawn without having to don is a fine way to do the gardening duties. Welcome to it! Just watch out when you do the weedeating - those little buggers can throw a rock most any direction, yikes!!

i have a walk behind self propelled as far as mower. But just go around and hand pull the grass where the mower don't reach. I hate the sound of those weed eaters. ( and leaf blowers) I use a rake saves $$$ on gas too.
