Where to go in Chicago-land for a massage

Return to Discussions

Does anyone have any recommendations on where to get a good massage in the Chicago-land area? Since the blizzard and all of that shoveling, my neck, back and various other muscles are killing me. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Go to masseurfinder.com. There are many different types of massages (some nude!). You can see who is located nearest you and either go to them or have them travel out to you! Otherwise I would suggest King Spa for a massage.

Cool, thanks for the link. I was wondering if anyone here had any experience with any that could make recommendations. I've had a few massages in the past that were nothing more than a light rub down. While those can be fun, I'm in need of a deep tissue massage. I can barely move. I'm sure there are plenty of good ones in the Chicago-land area, I just don't know any and was hoping someone here had experience with some. I live about 75 miles SW of the city so there really aren't any near me, thus nobody I know has any idea.
Thanks for the link. I'll definitely check it out.

You can try Massage Clinique in Carol Stream. Linda is a good deep tissue massage therapist. She also has an aqua massage machine if you prefer.Hey Y...good to see your still alive.

Being a nudist would be great to give another nudist a good massage session.

Quick Update:

Made an appointment with Randy (RandyM4u) last week and got a massage on Saturday. All I can say is WOW. When I left I felt like a new man! All of the muscle pain was gone and felt quite relaxed for the ride home. I'll probably continue this monthly, especially since I've started working out again which leaves my stuff and sore.
If looking for a massage in the Chicago-land area, I would highly recommend Randy. Very personable guy and really knows his stuff. He explained everything he was doing and what the benefits were.
Thanks again Randy. See you next month!

hey there, so glad you had a good response to the treatment, looking forward to more sessions. As you do your exercises and weight training those muscles will tighten up and massage will definitely help to relax them and get oxygen and nutrients to them.

Check out Red Square Spa in Wicker Park, its an old world Russian Spa/Bath house....very cool! Make an appointment with Russell, he does a deep tissue massage that is better than my Chiropractor (who I sent there to see Russell also). In fact I am going with a friend today for just that.
Enjoy!

Yep. it certainly helped and I found that the first few days of working out felt better as well. I'll send you a PM about setting up a monthly appointment so as not to clutter this thread up.
