Turns out I also won't be going too far from home. Too many damn things to do before we take off to the Virgin Islands, but I will get out somewhere.

I just read that National Parks also dont prohibit nudity. Made me think of the Great Sand Dunes national park.

Im near Crestone for the weekend so I figured I would try to take advantage. Anyone else?

I am often down in that area and think hiking in the dunes would be an excellent idea. Especially if you can get to the less visited areas. But the rest of my June is booked, so a short hike near home on the 21st will be it.

Oh - PS. The NPS.may not have rules against nudity, but State and local (county) laws still apply on NPS land. They could hand you over to the sheriff.

Well seeing how it snowed on the first day of summer, Naked Hiking Day was a bust. May be I'll get out Monday.

Sorry to hear your World Naked Hiking day didn't work out. Not to rub it in but CA was great! I had an awesome all nude hike day. I basically had the wilderness to myself. The only thing that could have made the event better was is if fellow nudists where with me to enjoy the event.

Luckily, I managed it, although I was on the Front Range. I had chilly (50-55) with intermittent rain, instead of the snow and low temps you got. The weather did clear out the trail though. With a warm day, that trail would not have been an option. Managed to try fish nude a little too, until a canoe showed up with a couple fisherman. Oh well. Mission accomplished.

The weather looks fabulous for you from Monday onwards. Have fun!!!!
