Return to DiscussionsMy first nudist experience was at a candlelight nude yoga class allegedly for beginners. I was a flop there as I wasn't as flexible as I thought.
My next and first real nudist event was at a monthly nude swim at a reserved pool. I had no problem undressing in front of everyone. The folks there were exceedingly friendly. I struck up a conversation with a big beautiful woman by the pool. I felt embarrassed because I could feel a very visible erection coming on.
She noticed it too, as she was very considerate and reassured me this is natural for men to do this, especially newcomers. She suggested we jump in the pool and my 'embarrassment' would subside. Once in the water, we continued our conversation.
This experience taught me the true nature of nudists.

I've only ever visited public areas such as beaches rather than resorts or non-landed venues and never felt close to getting an unwanted erection, but it seems a common (and occasionally real) concern. To be given that reassurance when being embarrassed by one's own physiology must be a great relief!
That, along with your general positive and confident approach (which even shines through in text) would put anyone at ease.
