Hiking naked
Return to DiscussionsI've hiked naked all day in many places, mainly in Spain, Portugal, Austria and France but also here in the UK. I carry a wrap which can be put on if I see other hikers. It is a token gesture as it hides very little. But it is enough and I rarely get a bad reaction. Occasionally I set out without any clothing or means of cover (yes no wrap). Once I set out in the very early morning thinking nobody else would be around. I walked for too long. By the end I was meeting others taking their dogs for a morning walk.
A great photo, it is so nice to be nude in places like that, it feels so right to enjoy nature while naturally naked.
@ adam_nl - your photos remind me of good times spent hiking nude in southern Crete as well. We managed to walk naked up the Samaria gorge from Agia Roumeli by starting early before the coach trips to the start of the gorge arrived, but there were so many people there on the way back we couldn't be nude :-( The beach at the eastern end in Sougia was a nice nudist place when we were there. We preferred southern Crete to the north of the island because it was more relaxed and we could be nude in more places there.
