Return to DiscussionsI travel a lot for work and am always staying in a hotel. I stay for long periods of time so try to behave myself to avoid getting kicked out. But Ive always wants to walk down the hallway naked.
Last night my friend encouraged me to try it. So I gab a robe and the ice bucket. My room is at one end, the ice machine in the middle. Its a good long walk. I walk there and get ice, robe on. Ok, no one came out I should be good.
Just as I start to open my robe the service door at the end of the hallway, by my room, opens and one of the restaurant workers walks out. Damn it. If I had left 10 seconds earlier she would have seen everything.
So I left robe on and walked back to room, passing her and saying hello on the way. She just smiled at me.
Still wanted to do it. So after working out later that night I made my plan. When I got off the elevator I stripped off my shorts and shirt and walked the rest of the way naked to my room. This time no one came out.
I plan on doing this again next week. Stay tuned.
In the US I think hotel workers have seen just about everything and wouldn't react to guests being naked. The biggest problem is likely if another hotel guest were to judge such encounters as threatening, in which case the hotel needs practical ways to maintain a safe and welcoming environment .
Have you ever been caught naked in a hotel? If so, what has been said to you?
I've never had any problems whatsoever - probably as a result of my discretion and the attitude of hotel staff.

As a follow-up to my hotel skinny-dip posting I managed a skinny-dip before breakfast on all three mornings I was at the hotel, the last two being for a full three quarters of an hour.
On the last morning a member of the domestic staff came into the pool area to change the towels and clean. She was cleaning the men's changing room when I entered naked from my swim. No comments were made about my nudity at the time or when I checked out a few hours later.
I also got a picture of the hotel's reception area showing the position of the monitor and the quality of it's picture.
Is it hotel in the UK?
It was a typical, slightly up-market, UK hotel.
The only thing which is unique about this occasion is that I have manged to document it with photographs and some video footage which I will publish when it is properly edited.
On former occasions and at other UK hotels I have not had suitable photographic equipment to do so.
Needless to say, I tend to stay in regular textile hotels more on my touring holidays in France and also then to have the photographic equipment with me to record the opportunities.

I used to travel a lot for my last job, and my company always put me up in a pretty great hotel wherever I would go. I kept going to one particular city, and the place I had to work was basically across the highway from a nice hotel, so I ended up always staying at the same one. It was probably six stories tall, and had wrap-around balconies. Whenever I had to smoke, I of course went out the sliding glass door to the balcony. Earlier on, I would be more modest. As it got later, I got a bit more daring. I also got more daring with each time I stayed there.
I went out to smoke a couple of times in just my briefs, and then finally pulled those off. I finally got brave enough to step out buck naked, not bring anything out there to wear, and enjoy my full smoke in the night air. It was exhilarating, daring, but also just felt so nice to be standing out there in the summer night.
One of those trips, I was on the side that overlooked the four-lane highway. I was on the fourth floor, and I stepped out to smoke naked several times during each night I was there. I never knew if the cars and trucks could see me or not. Even though the balcony wrapped all the way around, I never encountered anyone. I also essentially dared myself to walk down to the outside fire escape/stairway. It was roughly halfway across the building, and an enclosed stairway. I walked all the way down it to the ground level, and stepped out into the parking lot briefly.
One of the last nights I was there, I stepped out in the early morning. I hadn't really done that yet, as the sun was rising. I don't know who all may have seen me, but I do know a couple of garbage guys did. They pulled up to empty the dumpster, and I just continued standing there nude, 4 stories up. One saw me, got the attention of his buddy, and they both kind of chuckled and shook their heads.
As far as getting ice, I've gone several times in my underwear, but only once nude. I'd like to do it more!
Get the ice naked sometime. Its pretty exciting. And I always get the paper or put out room service tray naked. And I usually stand there for a minute with door open. That gives the people across from me time to peek out. Not sure if anyone ever has.
