I am planning to run the bay to breakers race in San Francisco in May. I am seriously considering running naked. It is a race I have always wanted to run. It will definitely be an adventure, if I don't chicken out last minute.

Go for it! Back in June of 2019, I did the World Naked Bike Ride in New Orleans. Similar situation, about 800 miles from home, sanctioned event so virtually no chance of being arrested. Of course, it can be addicting. I was going to do the NOLA WNBR as a 1 time "bucket list thing" I have done 14 rides in 10 cities to date with at least 3 of them planned this summer so far. Toronto, Buffalo and Houston. Fun times.

You will only regret it if you don't go. It was a blast. I ran it about 10 years ago and had a fabulous time from start to finish. Remember to post photos when you get back.

The general rule about such things is that you only regret things you didn't do, not things you did.

I am amazed you are allowed to run it Naked, knowing the strict rules in the US, but it does sound amazing

RE:I must me crazy

San Francisco is more tolerant of nudity than most places in the US, at least for certain events.
