Do you pluck, shave or anything else to have a smooth appearance?

I'm just wanting to hear what people do to control or eliminate pubic hair, I just started to pluck the hairs on my sac and the shaft. Anyone else do the same?

I am naturally hairy. It gets LONG if I would still let it.I started out trimming to 3/4" all over. Too long. Then 1/2", much better, but my partner didn't like being poked by the stubble on my pubes. I struggled with what to do for several years, till took the plunge and was waxed. It was amazing, the difference in the sensation from touching the skin. It was as if nothing had ever REALLY touched the skin, as the hair follicle stimulated the nerves first upon touch. She manscaped me, meaning that she consulted with me on what would look good on my body and would achieve my initial aim: to get rid of the hair on my back, shoulders, ass crack, ball sac, penis and about 1" strip at the base of my pubes.I couldn't believe the difference in the way it made me feel. Everything about being a nudist seemed to be more sensual: the sun and air on my skin, a soft touch...I surprised my partner, and she was surprised that I would do such a thing. But she accepted it because she knew how I hated the hair, and she certainly liked the new way I felt too. I was in there every 5 weeks, with the last three feeling hairy.I went on this way for about a year or so, then I retired and decided not to spend that money.I bought a pair of really good tweezers and determined the most effective attack. This actually produced a better result than waxing or sugaring (they use sugar to make a tacky substance that dries quickly and hard around the hairs). Tweezing is time-consuming, detail work. But it doesn't hurt and can be done more efficiently than I had imagined. The key for me was to get comfortable where i could see everything with a mirror without craning my neck. Hairs grow out at an angle, and once I understood the pattern I started at my anus and worked up, as that allowed me to always work to a clear field, and i always knew where I was in the process. I recommend a good magnifying adjustable stand mirror so it is simple to make small adjustments as you move up. Tweezers I use are flat tapered and pretty sharp. If I pay attention, I can both see and feel exactly how to slide the tweezers up under the hairs, just to the base and pull in the direction to pull straight out of the follicle. This leads to very few missed hairs. Keep tweezers clean, as stray hairs in the vise will foul your job.I usually do one side at a time. Well, I found out that if I allocated about an hour and a half to this, I could do as clean a job as when i was waxed. I think I could actually remove more of the hair root through plucking. Very few broken hairs. The part of waxing I didn't like was the hairy last few weeks till the hairs were long enough to wax. I found that I wanted to pull out the hairs as soon as I could get my tweezers on them. So I was spending a lot of time tweezing so I could be perpetually smooth. It finally got to be too much, and one day I needed to get smooth in a hurry for my partner, so shaved.I shave now and have ever since. I get stubbly if I don't shave every day and since I like to be completely smooth, I shave every day or two. I have found that dry shaving seems to work well, but really irritates my skin, in comparison to slow careful wet shaving. I look forward to this every day, and can take me from 3 to 30 minutes depending on how absolutely smooth I want to be and how much time I have to kill. I shave all my pubic hair now, down to my anus. In warm weather, I shave my shoulders, upper chest and back. And I trim everything else from neck to toe to 1/4 inch.I am generally happy with this system, but would rather not have the stubble and lose all the hair permanently. I am going to have to check out that epilator.

I have a full body wax every 4 to 5 weeks. I sometimes top it up with an epilator

I shave the entire body 2-3 times per week. Keeps it all nice and smooth, and I have no problems with ingrown hairs. :-)

I usually trim my crotch with an electric trimmer. I also shave my balls and my ass for a very smooth feel. I recently read something about someone smooth "Sugared" their privates. I'm not sure what that means but the results are the same. When I find out I'll share. Unless someone on TN knows and would like to share.Sugaring is like waxing but better for your skin it's an ancient Egyptian method. I've had it done for years. Smooooth ass and balls plus base of my cock

I don't have a smooth appearance. I trim the longest hairs with clippers but not to

I use a Noralco razor for my body and a safety razor around the tender areas.

I also use Veet cream at difficult areas but mostly shave. It becomes so easy over time and no irritation anymore.

I shave everything except my eyebrows and I keep them trimmed neatly. I shave the rest of my entire body with a razor in the shower several times per week. Less frequently in the winter and almost every day during spring and summer. I like being smooth and haven't found anything else that works well for me other than just shaving.
