Just bought a kilt - and naturally I'll be freeballing under it...
Return to DiscussionsAye, the traditional way ... nae breeks! I have 2 ... the first made of one of the 3 tartans I'm entitled to wear through my Scottish ancestry and a 'utility' one, both worn in the traditional way.
I love wearing a kilt and always true Scotsman. I've got a Black Watch tartan, but when my sister got married, we all wore a black tartan, with grey through it, looks great with full formal dress for the wedding, but at night we swapped our tops for the Jacobean shirt, which if you're doing a load of jiggin, it's a bit cooler. Of course Burns night and Hogmany go without saying.
It is the ONLY true way to wear a kilt. At a formal occasion the ladies might just be checking you are wearing it correctly. And the swirl of the kilt in a jig or real should show your bare bum to all those assembled.
