Nude Oconee River Canoe Trip
Return to DiscussionsMy son gave me a canoe for Father's Day. We decided to try it out today. We started in the middle of Athens and took A four hour trip down the Oconee River.
The water was a little low and a lot of rocks, so we struggled at times but eventually The Rock's gave way to a nice Leisure trip.
The first half-hour we saw absolutely no homes or people so we decided to get comfortable.
My wife felt relaxed enough to remove her shirt and I took off my shorts.
We paddled for the next 3 hours and tranquil Bliss on the river.
For three hours we wouldn't have known if it was 2018 or 1818! So peaceful and relaxing. Only an occasional home came barely into view but most of it was totally isolated.
We had a great time enjoying the river and the scenery.
We can't wait to do it again.
Sounds like a WONDERFUL day to enjoy being nude outdoors! I'd love to have been in a canoe gliding along with yall. Hope to do that trip on a nice warm day, but it will have to wait till next summer. THANKS for the post, and photos!
