I started this group as I didn't know how else to make friends with people who are fellow nudists and I am sure you do to. Would like to plan trips away, go to events, etc and wanted to see if I am the only one on the GC. Lol.

The legality of this usage is probably that it's not really commercial or defamatory nor is it far out of context. You're absolutely correct about the attribution and cause they produced the images for. They are unlikely the licensee. That would be the photographer or the publisher. The first one is probably on the secondary market by now or stock photo sites. Unless they send a letter asking for the removal of the image it's not anything more egregious than the copyright mightmare that is the internet.
