Bodies--dead ones--at the Hook
Return to DiscussionsThrough May of 2023, two dead bodies have been found at or near our favorite naked beach.
On May 22, someone in a boat found a man floating a mile or two north of Sandy Hook. He was wearing jeans. They haven't figured out who he is.
On May 6, a woman was found in the waters off Gunnison itself. Police have figured out who she is, but they haven't announced it because they haven't notified next of kin. They did NOT say what she was wearing--what she WASN'T wearing. But some of the news reports did say that Gunnison Beach is the only nude beach on Sandy Hook.
