Return to DiscussionsHi there. Regular Gunnison Beach goer planning a visit to Haulover 2.23. Will land in FLL a d plan to drive directly to the beach. Is timing ok or will I get there too late for parking and a good spot on the beach?
Im used to gunnison beach filling up early on weekend and the parking lot closing off - want to be sure I can enjoy quality beach time later in the afternoon.
Any advise is appreciated.

It depends on what time you arrive. Expect to take 30 minutes or more to rent your car, and up to an hour drive to Haulover, park and walk. It's definitely worth the effort, a beautiful beach. Have fun, report back.
