Return to DiscussionsGood Morning fellow nudists! My gf and I will be going to Haulover tomorrow through Sunday. It is our first trip there and we are wondering if anyone has any tips for our visit (parking, best place on the beach to layout, etc.). We usually go to Playalinda beach and we're looking forward to trying Haulover, heard nothing but good things about it! Thanks in advance for your help!
Perhaps the best thing about Haulover is the easy access. Park directly across the street in the south parking lot near the tunnel, and you are on the beach in less than 5 minutes! After you go thru the tunnel, you'll see the building on the right with restrooms and to your left is the expanse of nude beach. You'll also see rangers patrolling. Head out to any spot you prefer on the sand; closer to the water if you want the view, or back away from it if that's not important. You'll see a pretty good crowd most any day of the week, though heavier on weekends of course. Lots and lots of sunscreen are necessary. And water. Others might chime in with their recommendations for the best place. Oh, and be aware, driving in Miami is not at all like driving in any other part of Florida. Miami drivers are rather aggressive and fast, so exercise caution.
We had a fantastic trip, thank you! Being from the Tampa area we usually frequent Playalinda beach since it's closer than Haulover. They both have things we like more about the other, but we definitely will be returning to Haulover for another weekend getaway!
