Speedoless Skiing

Return to Discussions

Nude skiing is not allowed at the resort mountain, unless they have set a date or dates and specific times on specific ski lifts and runs. Aspen did have nude ski days at end of season...don't believe they do that nowadays...too bad. .. So, nude skiing is done in back country, or on Forestry Land trials.

Nude skiing is definitely something else to add to the bucket list! As you say, it would be a challenge to find an official resort to offer that. It would also have to be very late season as well.

So far this season I have 21 Shorts Only Skiing days and 6 Speedo or less Skiing days, at the MMSA.

Not much difference between Speedo Skiing and Nude Skiing, so it doesn't always need to be late-season, for either...I had 54 days SpeedoSkiing last season, two days or more during each month of the season...not counting NudeSkiing off the resort...So far this season I have 15 days SpeedoSkiing, that is 50% of days, so far...again, not counting off-resort NudeSkiing.

NudeSkiing: it may not need to be late season. This season, before we got the Dec Dump, I already had close to 30 days SpeedoSkiing, which functionally is the same as NudeSkiing. I believe Aspen in past years had closing day designated nude /optional ski run (s)doubt they still do. At least one Colorado ski resort has a closing day tradition of skiers Streaking and ski patrol attempting to catch them...
