Return to DiscussionsAlways sleep naked wherever I go. Always been fortunate to have my own room on business trips so that situation has never come up. If it ever does, I most likely will be naked in the room and in the bed. Hope that this situation never comes up.
when i travel it is with a a company that organizes small group tours. Max of 16 people. I have traveled solo with them many times. They have a policy to save cost for each person that they will match you up with another traveler of the same sex. So i have ended up with several random roomies. I have openly slept nude and gone nude around the room with all the guys who I have roomed with. All but 2 have never said anything. Those two happened to be on a tour that there were 3 of us single guys who rotated who had the solo and who shared. It was a month long tour and about a week and half in, the other 2 opted to share the rest of the trip and let me have the solo room. One hinted it was because of the nudity, but i think snoring was a factor too. One random roomie who I shared a room with for the entire 9 day tour with at first was very modest himself while assuring me my nakedness did not bother him. But part way through he decided to join me, and was casual about nudity in the room like me, and even tried a night of nude sleeping himself. A first for him.
For me it completely depends on the situation. If I have my own room or some privacy I always sleep nude. If I have to share a room I usually wear boxers. Though sometimes I wake up to find I've taken them off in the night and then try to stealthily find them in the covers or floor. I'd rather always be naked but haven't wanted to make others uncomfortable or lose friendships.
always sleep naked! When with someone else, I just mention that I sleep naked and ask, "Hope you don't mind"! I keep boxers on the floor next to the bed, but mostly don't get in them to walk around the room, go outside, or get up to pee. Shared a room with my 20 year old nephew in a mountain cabin. He was covered in pajamas head to toe. He also slept in and I walked around naked inside and outside. He slept through most of it but said nothing.
On most of my travels I have my own room so of course I can be nude, including when I am a guest in relatives' and friends' homes. I have some nude friendly buddies with whom I at times share a room and even a bed nude (non-sexual, some sleep in clothes and others nude as is their own custom). Rarely I share a room with someone that would be uncomfortable seeing me nude so then I discreetly slip out of shorts under the covers after lights out. After 50 years of sleeping nude it is just uncomfortable to get tangled up in clothes when I am trying to sleep.
I have been sleeping nude for years now. When I am visiting relatives I usually have my own room so sleeping naked is not a problem. When I am on a trip and have to share the room it is usually another nudist so being naked is not a problem. One of the advantages of being a nudist is that I don't always have to have a same sex roommate
