Carolina Winter Holiday Report, forthcoming RSVP request

Return to Discussions

Members from northwest North Carolina and all points of South Carolina met in the SC Midlands to celebrate the beginning of the Holiday Season. It was a great day to get outside to enjoy the bright sun and warmer temps, one of the reasons we live here. There were plenty of snacks to enjoy including smoked salmon w/capers, a variety of cheese and crackers as well as the garlic spinach dip. The meal included a lasagna (thank you Pinkie for such a scrumptious dish), egg plant Parmesan, a fantastic salad with unique toppings and cheese, garlic rolls, a fantastic rum cake, brownies, and two varieties of ice cream. There was sparkling grape juice as well as chardonnay to sip on during the event.

The grab bag was fun with laughable as well as practical items that will urge us to think of great times with fellow members as the years continue. Even though some who planned to be there couldnt make it, you were thought of and perhaps will make the next event or three.
Photos have been posted in the Yahoo group (only actual members can few these) under 2011 Winter Holiday Party.
