We were showering in a very small shower, there was so little room that our bodies were touching each other most of the time. We were also soaping each other. It was a great bonding experience. Its a shame I never ever had again a similar opportunity epithet at the gym or at home.

I sadly had to spend a little time away - let's say on a government holiday. Living with 100 guys in my wing. There were many times o had a shower with a mate there. Sometimes there was a big lineup for the showers, so I would just walk in to the stall with a mate. It was great. Especially to have someone scrub your back. Maybe a shoulder massage. Nothing sexual about any of it. As far as I know all the guys I showered with were straight and didn't care that I was/am gay.
There should be more of it. I don't miss that place but I miss the mateship...
I was skyping with a friend before work once. Rather than end the call, we just took our computers in the bathroom and continued chatting while we showered and got ready for work. We both enjoyed it enough that we purposefully timed it to shower together again a couple more times.
I also shower with my workout buds at the gym, then sit on our towels in the steam room together.
