I was in NJ Thursday afternoon and instead of dealing with rush hour traffic on the way home I went to King Spa for a few hours. It was a great weeknight treat. Hot tubs, sauna, a light Korean dinner, nap, more hot tubs, and steam room time. I felt great on the way home.
As large as King Spa is New York Sauna is small. The two times I stopped there it was virtually empty. They have two hot tubs, a cold tub, steam room and sauna. I swear their steam room is much hotter then others. It seems to be mostly Asian where the others are more mixed ethnically.
Spa Castle is different then both of the others. It too is huge and there is more of a party atmosphere with their outdoor pools (all textile). Plus they have a bar. Their nude area/wet area might be the largest with an array of hot tubs and cold plunges. Their sauna seems fine. Their steamroom? For the sake of a public posting all I will say is you better be prepared if you are a prude nude.
