Does anyone have any current information about skinny dipping in the Lester River or elsewhere? I'll be in the Duluth area in a couple of weeks and while I'm not desperate to go skinny dipping, I'd definitely incorporate it into my plans if it's available. Basically I want to know if the Lester River is still used for skinny dipping? How many people might be there on a week day or a weekend? Is it a mixed crowd? Is it strictly a swimming spot or is there funny stuff going on there as well? Is it patrolled by law enforcement? Will I have to call my mother for bail money? And finally, if it's safe and recommended, how the heck do I find it?
