My two passions in life are travelling and folk music so if I can combine the two I'm a happy camper. I've been a naturist for something like thirty years and joined the Federation of Canadian Naturists in 2000. I'm not militant about my naturism but if the temperatures are comfortable and clothing isn't necessary then I shed it as quickly as I can. I make a point of seeking out social experiences when I travel and have visited a number of clubs/resorts and beaches throughout North America. Most of my overseas travel has been in the shoulder seasons so I haven't done any there yet. When I travel, I like to go for three or four weeks at a time and hostel or camp most of the time. My most recent international travels have taken me to the Philippines and Mexico. Have you been? If Covid disappeared tomorrow I would be going to Portugal in October but I suspect 2021 will be all about motorcycle camping closer to home. However, I'd like to go back to China in 2022. Have you been? Do you have any suggestions about where to go? I was thinking about the southwestern part of the country.

Who I'd like to meet
I enjoy chatting with new people so drop me a line and if we are ever at the same club or swim it would be nice to meet for lunch or a trip to the beach. Talking about folk music or travelling is a good way to catch my interest! I won't accept blind friend requests so lets please exchange some messages first.
Budget travel, backpacking, folk festivals, bonfires, live theatre, cats, potluck dinners, reading, learning, live concerts, naturist festivals.
I like stories that have strong acting and a plot rather than just relying on special effects. Some of my favourites are The Lives of Others, Bridge of Spies, The Big Short, Persepolis, Spotlight, Schindler's List, Gosford Park, The King's Speech, Sin Nombre, Shawshank Redemption. Having said that, special effects have their place. Who doesn't love Die Hard and the X-Men movies? These days most of the tv shows I watch are European but I throw in a few American ones for variety.
Folk music, of course. :-) Favourites include: The Young'uns, Show of Hands, Tom Russell, Stan Rogers, Loreena McKennitt, Teresa Doyle, Stephen Fearing, Poor Angus, Silly Wizard, David Ross Macdonald, Tanglefoot, Archie Fisher, Peggy Seeger, Tom Lewis, John Wort Hannam, Garnet Rogers, James Keelaghan, Eric Bogle, Barra MacNeils, Des Temps Antan, Anne and Pete Sibley. The newest artists on my playlist are Small Glories, Leaf Rapids and the Dead South.
