whos the most dispointing team so far one half though the season
Return to DiscussionsI believe the most disappointing team this season is the St. Louis Cardinals. They are a team who generally stays in the upper part of the bracket. This year they have been in the cellar. We shall see how things go after the Mid-Season Break. It gets serious from here on.
Being a Red Sox fan, I have to say that they are pretty disappointing this year. They've been sitting in last place in their division for most of the season. They've finally lost that position to the Yankees (yay!), but man, it's been a rough season. I will say that pitching has historically been their weak point, but this year it has been pretty decent. Their offense goes through horrible droughts and they've been playing pretty sloppy defense far too often for my taste. They lost some key players and their current lineup just doesn't seem to have the cohesiveness of past years. Oh well, it's another 'rebuilding year'.
