I did three separate surveys on big nude beaches, with a sample of 1000 men and 1000 women each time (arduous work but in the name of science...). Each time gave roughly the same result: 90% of women and two thirds of the men had no pubic hair. So the answer is:- most nudists remove their pubic hair, at least before going to the beach. The proportions did not appear to vary with age or any other physical characteristic. I observed some genital jewellery glinting in the sun too.
I'm just a bit hairy right now. I'm having a full body wax (including pubes etc.) in 3 day's time and the hair has to grow long enough for the wax to grab hold.
