Any Projects?
Return to DiscussionsJust wondering if anyone has any projects going on, they are working on. I just recently joined this group and haven't started any new projects since then. If I do I will post up something about it. This group doesn't seem very lively, but maybe that can change if we start exchanging projects and pictures.
I am planning on building a gun rack to keep my shotguns and rifles on. Right now they are just leaned up in a corner of the bedroom, and I want to get them up off the floor and onto the wall. Trying to decide if I want them in a vertical or horizontal position. I am thinking I would like them vertical, so they are all at the same level for when I want to take one off the rack. Any thoughts on this?
I have built a number of houses...but never in the nude! I would hate to have to pull splinters out of some very sensitive places. On one house I did install an indoor hot tube and I would get nude anduse it after the days work. Always refreshing.
I'm glad we are finally starting to get some dialogue going in this group, it's about time. Keep'em coming guys, we need more of this for the group to be worthwhile. I was seriously considering leaving this group if there was not some participation in the next few days.
There are times when I put on protection. :-) Usually from flying debris from my saw or weed whacker or to protect me from a hot roof...But haven't needed it for splinters! I am now building on a wrap-around deck, hanging interior doors, building cabinets, installing slate and tile, cutting and installing interior trim, wiring a new room addition. hanging drywall, siding. That sort of stuff, along with all the normal maintenance.
