Eastern Oregon - Eagle Cap Wilderness hike
Return to DiscussionsMy wife and I hiked about 12 1/2 miles today - there were no other cars at the Moss Springs Trailhead so about a mile down the trail, I stripped to only my hat and boots (and backpack); my wife got too warm as well a couple miles later and took off her bottoms. We both hiked that way for most of the hike - I completed the hike nude as there were still no cars at the trailhead when we returned from the hike, and took my time getting dressed.It was great - perfect temperatures, NO BUGS. The Western Larch ("Tamarack") trees were turning yellow.
