It's time to salute a new champion!! ... If you can call 7 time winner Jimmy Johnson, new. That was a wild 10 lap shootout for a history making win. He is now, only the third driver to have 7 championship years. ... and it gets tougher to win every year! ... It's also time to say good-bye to past champion Tony Stewart, who is retiring as a Cup driver, but has no plans to leave racing entirely. :-)
