New nudist here, like this week new. I've been reading about it for a couple weeks, visiting the aanr website, reading people's experiences and stories here on TN, and it seems like it made a lot of sense and connected some dots, so I decided to give it a try!
My wife and I have both slept in the buff for the last couple of years, and for the last year when I stay in hotels (travel a lot for work)I've found myself spending more time nude but this week was the first time I spent any real time at home. The other day I spent most of the day sans clothes, fixed a shower head, did the dishes, worked (I work largely from home) and it felt so free! It took me maybe an hour or two before I started to feel comfortable walking around, but once I was I dreaded having to put clothes on. And today, my wife joined me for a few hours before we had to leave the house, and it was great. We just sat on the couch and talked and really connected. We both kind of lamented that we had to get dressed to go about our daily errands.
Hey. Sounds like me. My wife says she wants to try it but I'm not sure if she is just saying that for my benefit. Any suggestions on how to open her up more to the idea? Right now I'm just limited to inside the house but I want to step out in a more open environment. Like a campground or resort.
For us, I brought it up slowly, and we just kind of started talking open and honestly about it. We both realized that we don't really like clothes, and we're slowly becoming more comfortable as the days go by. It's been a series of baby steps, talking about what makes us comfortable or uncomfortable (she likes relaxing nude, but chores, work, etc. not so much).
Right now we're finding it a way for us to relax together and strengthen our relationship. We've started planning for a privacy fence and have started discussing trying out a campground/resort.
