Did anyone view the total solar eclipse? I had a few friends over and we all viewed it from my backyard. I had 4 telescopes set up.
Has anyone ever seen a fireball in the sky, ie a meteor? My wife and I saw a huge fireball Saturday night over south Fort Worth, TX.
I decided to build a Roll off Roof observatory in the back pasture. Im tired of my neighbors porch lights interfering with my observing. I got a great deal done this past weekend. Anyone else have a backyard observatory?
I use my 10 inch Dobsonian mounted Orion XT Newtonian most the time.
Im thinking of participating in the 5K at Bluebonnet in September. If the weather is good, I can bring my telescope and have a star party. What does everyone think?
