Return to DiscussionsI have found a great elliptical for me. I run on it naked all the time.If I found a nude gym my new goal would be being the oldest Mr. Olympia ever. I sure would enjoy trying anyway.
That be dream come true going to a nude gym. Being mr.olmpia isn't a bad goal at all, just a lot of work.
I've worked out naked at a few nudist resorts. However, since it does not seem like a lot of people go there to workout, the gym equipment is usually pretty ancient. :(
They have gyms at resorts?? Never been but if they do might check it out.
I agree with you on the old if any equipment at a resort. I run the trails some or do some body weight exercises. I have repurposed some of the other recreational equipment too. It's funny some of the looks that I get. Like I am running around naked or something.......oh wait.....
Finding places to work out nude is next to impossible. I have worked out nude before at a gym but it was at a nude resort I was visiting for a week. I used the gym every morning to do weights and every evening before dinner to do cardio. Like someone pointed out above, not many nude resorts have gyms, but the ones that do tend to have old or inadequate equipments. The place I visited had a dated gym but I made due. In speaking to the manager, apparently they haven't updated their gym because it isn't used much by visitors so he doesn't think it is worthwhile investment. I also have been to other resorts where the equipments at the gym looked so old that I deemed them unsafe so I did not bother using it. One gym I tried to use the treadmill and because it was so old, it kept stopping and I ended up tripping and falling off.
That being said, there are other ways I work out nude. In my home I have the NordicTrack incline trainer and I use it nude 3-4x/week. Also, I have various workout tapes like Tae Bo, Gilad Body in Motion, and other workout DVDs and I pop those in when I am short on time and do not have time to go to the gym. I get naked, line up my weights and bands, and I workout nude to the video.
