RE:WORLD NAKED BIKE RIDE SUMMER TOUR 2022

I did both of the Montreal rides 1:00 & 8:00PM. Both rides did a large loop starting at Dorchester Square and going through Downtown and up through the Gay Village then a mini loop about 1/3 the distance. The night ride followed the same route and there were a lot more people in the Gay Village than in the day ride. The major difference between these rides and all the others I have done this year was the Police. While the Police at the other rides pretty much ignored us, The Montreal Police was fully cooperative. There were 6 Montreal Police cars and 10-12 Officers on bikes! Before someone asks, yes they were clothed. All the intersections were blocked for us and after the night ride they stayed with us and diffused a situation with an obnoxious person that was complaining about the nudity in the park and actually lunged at me. They ended up taking him away in a car. Most of the officers seemed to enjoy the duty and we all greatly appreciated their help.
After the incident at the park I commented to one of the officers that it was not too smart for the guy to attack someone in front of a dozen police officers. Other than that minor incident the response to our ride was, as usual overwhelmingly positive.

Next up, St. Louis 7/30. This is going to be a quick low budget trip. Flying in Saturday morning, Pick up a rental bike, Do the ride in the afternoon - evening, 1 night in a hotel, check out at noon on Sunday, return the bike, then have a few hours to kill before going to the airport for an 8:15 flight home. I am not going to have a rental car, will rely on UBER / LYFT or the St Louis Metro system to get around. Between the car rental and parking this should save me over $250.00
