Nude Modeling
This group is for all of us who have found the joy of modeling nude, be it for an art class, professional photographer, or a free lance artist. Or maybe you're someone who's always thought about modeling naked for class or artist. Here is where you can share your experience, both serious and funny, or if you're new to it, ask questions to see if it's something you seriously want...

Return to DiscussionsThis is right, I was hesitating for some time, but then decided to have someone make nude photo's of me. I'm glad I did, and have made more in meantime by a nice person that understands that not everyone likes to do things like this. The only thing is he's a textile.
Well, I had some pictures taken a few years back. The studio was not very quiet, there were two dressed ladies taking the photos, once in a while people dropping in... It was a rather stressful experience, and unfortunately the photographer had a kind of catalogue of possible poses she was following... I hope to do it again sometimes, but then I have to prepare it better. And maybe next time I get paid instead of paing for the session ;-)
That was awfull, they never should have done that. A nude shoot is always a closed set, only essential people are there and definately noone popping in or out. And if she did posing by numbers then she wasnt much of a photographer. Two shoots should never be the same as two people are never the same. I am sorry you had such a bad experience of us photographers, I hope it hasn't put you off. If you are ever my way I promise you a much more positive experience.

I have been posing for art classes since 1977. I have posed for hundreds of classes and dozens of photographers and rarely had an uncomfortable experience. I always arrive relaxed and eager. Sometimes the photographer is a bit nervous and I know how to alleviate those concerns and fears. I am listed on several modeling sites, including Model Mayhem, Miss Online and Model Brigage.
While a nude shoot may not always be totally closed, it should always be totally respectful.
