How do I start as a model?
Return to DiscussionsI am approaching a milestone birthday and I'm quite depressed about it if I'm honest. I don't feel ready to age. In my head, I'm still 27.
One of the things on my 'bucket list' for want of a better phrase is to be model for a life drawing class/artist. I have a photoshoot booked for nearer my birthday but the idea of posing for a sketch/painting done live is appealing too.
So, how do I start out?
So since I posted this, I made contact with a local art class who have said that as soon as the lockdown restrictions allow, they would love to have me model for them. They are fairly local so if it goes well, it could become a regular thing. The guy said they generally have a single pose so the whole session would be mine. Can't wait!
