Reality Of Nudism

A frank discussion group about the realities of nudism

Nudism isn't as popular as it once was. Nude beaches are being taken over by mostly men who will patrol along the beach looking for nude women to look at which tends to drive lone females or couples away. Even clothing-optional resorts have a no-lone-male policy. That is the reality.
Online it is even worse, if a woman goes into a chat room she is immediately mobbed by men wanting to talk or asking her to get on cam. If that didn't happen would more women get on cam, I don't know. Like I said that is what is becoming the reality of modern day nudism.

RE:The reality

Its a safety thing as well. So much easier for a single male to explore these curiosities naked in public. Unfortunately for women the risk of assault plus the male gaze would be huge problems. I can understand why women and family nudists would be mobbing more toward home nudism. Even I am participating so much less due to nearest nude beach being a 2 hour drive. I very rarely get to publicly nude up at all anymore.

RE:The reality

I think the reason fewer people are exploring is we made nudism/naturism less attractive to the average person. The focus on just nakedness rather than to the broader aspects of nudism hurt rather than hindered IMO opinion because it made us look more a niche than we already were. Also as others have said not creating safe spaces for families has hurt as well.

RE:The reality

We just looked at all, over 30 pages of Indiana nudists who were once TN members. A dozen or so used to be TN friends of ours prior to their no longer being active here. We hope theyre still active nudists somewhere. Of course the main culprit could be the long distance between members which makes it difficult for some to meet up.

Yes many of the genuine people have left the site.
