Reality Of Nudism

A frank discussion group about the realities of nudism

Nudism isn't as popular as it once was. Nude beaches are being taken over by mostly men who will patrol along the beach looking for nude women to look at which tends to drive lone females or couples away. Even clothing-optional resorts have a no-lone-male policy. That is the reality.
Online it is even worse, if a woman goes into a chat room she is immediately mobbed by men wanting to talk or asking her to get on cam. If that didn't happen would more women get on cam, I don't know. Like I said that is what is becoming the reality of modern day nudism.

How true, especially when it comes to families. Weve seen a big decline at the resorts we visit. You mentioned the very reason why we seldom if ever use the chat room.

RE:The reality

The reality is the True Nudist site is very little about nudism. Few people on this site are real nudists.

I really don't have an answer on how to make things better. There is just something in biology that brings far more men to this site than the population as a whole.

Same thing here, never use the chat section !

Sad that women are treated that way everywhere. Not just being nude. But the resorts are a lot safer. Only takes a second to say help and someone will be there. Beaches are different story. But a compact mirror is a great help.

Dont know the answer to change what men do to women. Why is there rape videos or even gang bang videos and women doing them for mens pleasure ? But then there are the same videos of men being dominated by other men. Maybe thats why they want this. To dominate over someone. Even in business its done. So being nude is even easier !

We just looked at all, over 30 pages of Indiana nudists who were once TN members. A dozen or so used to be TN friends of ours prior to their no longer being active here. We hope theyre still active nudists somewhere. Of course the main culprit could be the long distance between members which makes it difficult for some to meet up.

Looking at dates joined on some people, I believe people joined during COVID for something to do. Since the virus went down and people could get out. They no longer participate on thus website.

While I agree the majority of guys (and a lot of the women trying to contact me) aren't in fact nudists, I'd posit that those replying to a thread like this likely are.

I find the same. Having compatible friends within driving distance is essential. A common "club" or meeting place is also key to an enduring nudist friendship. Sorting through the hoards of TN members who are here for the wrong reasons is an ongoing challenge.

RE:The reality

To me, unironically, "true nudism" will seldom be found here at TN.

I was lucky enough to find it at our resort. Frequent visits allowed us to connect with people, develop relationships, and have a "naked social life." Reading some of the posts in some of the Groups is nothing like the reality of going to the resort, taking all our clothes off in the parking lot, and going about our day naked as we socialize with friends and interact with naked people who are on the same page as us.
