Return to DiscussionsI've been pondering the idea of a Roman bath. If someone opened a Roman bath in Springfield MO, how would it be perceived? Who would go there?
Certainly, nudist men (straight, g0y, bi, or gay) would go. But it seems doubtful that straight textile men would go to such a place. I believe it would be viewed as somehow being a sexual place. I believe straight textile men would perceive it as a gay sex den.
Additionally, since group male nudity slowly faded out between the 60s and the 90s, few young men are even comfortable being nude around other men. It's just us old guys who are totally comfortable in such situations. Only old guys are nude in men's locker rooms.
