This is a group for guys who like to keep their body hair natural, except for shaving their penis and scrotum. That's all I shave and after experimenting with various combinations of shaved / unshaved / all on / all off it is what I prefer. Thirty years ago, when it was considered kinky, I began shaving my penis and scrotum. Ten years after that my wife suggested I try her epilator, a small device which plucks hair.
The first time I tried the epilator it didn't go well. It was too painful with so many mature hairs to be removed. So over the following week, l plucked everything manually. With the immature new growth being less dense and not as rooted, the epilator worked like a charm, if a little painful. To help with the pain I used Solarcaine.
There are some advantages to epilating versus shaving. First, a weekly session does the job. Second, the small amount of regrowth is finer which eliminates itching. Third, it's smoother.
Now, my weekly sessions are sans Solarcaine. Maybe I've got everything trained or just got immune to it.
There are other techniques for grooming the penis and scrotum. Anyone willing to share?
I use an Australian cream named NADS for removing hair "down under". I apply the cream to my pubes, then to my groin, perineum, anal valley, and finally to my scrotum. Important: do the application exactly in that sequence! I then wipe off after 4 minutes and the hair's gone and I can shower.
Don't schedule fellatio for a while though, as a smell remains. I may mix some combo of cedar, musk, myrrh, santal and (maybe) patchouli oils to override the smell. The smell goes away overnight, anyhow.
