Return to DiscussionsI'm actually in West Sussex, but not far from the border with East. I found a random place with a short walk down a farm lane only used in harvest time I guess. It leads through a glade and into fields where I can walk around the fields and lay in the sunshine near Goddards Green just off the A2300, which is just off the A23. I've seen deer there and it's nice in the sunshine.
I was a Tesco delivery driver for a while and at one time they did not allow us to deliver early, so I carried a towel etc with me and as I drove around Sussex and Surrey, I would grab the chance anytime I saw a suitable place and would strip off and walk in random places away from the populace. For a while, I had saved them on my Garmin sat-nav and could look and see if any were close when I had time to kill. Happy memories. I am retired now but will be wandering around in my vehicle no doubt come the good weather and enjoying more au naturel walks in the countryside. Where is Abbots Wood? Which town is that near to?
