Return to DiscussionsHad a great time at Spa World yesterday. After a long drive from Hampton Roads I finally got to Spa World at around 4:30pm. It wasn't really busy but it wasn't empty either. I didn't see anyone I recognized from TN. I did see a pretty cool thing, though. There was an older man, maybe in his 50's, who was there with a very young guy who was maybe 15/16 years old. At first I figured it was a father son situation but later I got to overhear them talking and I got the impression that the older guy was a mentor, maybe a big brother or some other kind of figure like that, and the younger guy was a local kid who was spending time with him. I thought that was pretty cool. I know when I was younger if my big brother (from Big Brothers/Big Sisters) brought me to a place like Spa World I would have loved it. Anyway, so yeah, a good time even if I was on my own.
