RE:KingonsThe Klingon difference was addressed in DS9 trouble with tribbles episode with Worf saying they don't talk about it. Then it was dealt with more extensively on Enterprise in the final season with a follow-up to the Augment story arc. The Klingons took some of the augment DNA and spliced it into theirs. It caused a disease that was killing them. Doctor Flox developed a cure with Archer's DNA with a side effect of "eroding their cranial ridges"
