Five-Fingers are the way to go unless you are on the beach or sand dunes. I don't like to have my feet limiting the length of my hike. Depending on the pair you use, you can still pick up much of the feel of the ground beneath your feet. In addition, there are many benefits to hiking in Five Fingers.
Nothing beats a nude hike in the woods. I can sometimes hike barefoot when the pine needles form a soft carpet on the path. The mud can be fun as long as you can judge the depth. It adds to the sensuous aspect of connection to nature. But sometimes boots are needed for very hot or rocky terrain. Wouldn't want to miss out on a hike just to go barefoot.
I remember the very first time I hiked nude. It was wonderful. At first I was very unsure, but as soon as I was nude and walking the trail, I realized that there was no better way to hike. It felt so natural, and I truly felt united with nature. Hiking nude has enhanced the Naturist experience for me.
We have a hike near Phoenix, and Tucson. Both are nude. But the one by Phoenix is nude in the parking lot, when textiles are not camping there.
I leave home naked arrived naked and set up my pack naked. The hike is just a mile long to a slot canyon. 4 pools to swim in. Many rocks for sun bathing on.
I hike nude in local nature preserve trails. I also hike nude A long and in shallow creeks and a local wet weather river in central Kentucky.
I do wear Jesus sandles (I can't keep flip flops on) There are sharp jagged rocks in these areas,and my feet are tender. I carry a pair of loose short shorts with me on case I encounter any one and need to cover up
Nude hiking is a great relaxing enjoyment for me. I do it all through the warm weather season. The scenery changes from spring to summer to autumn. It never gets old or boring
Today, Christmas Day, 2019, the temperature reached at least 67 degrees. This afternoon I went to my favorite hiking trail. There has been a lot of rain lately so the trail was muddy and pooled over in places but it had no people there. I stripped and walked as much of the trail and back as I could. it was wonderful, the best part of this Christmas Day. I hope things dry out and maybe in mid January we will get a couple of warm days to do it again. Otherwise I have to wait for Spring.
