Where do you buy your vinyl? It is mostly from local stores or are there online options?

Lucky people in Charlottesville, Virginia can go to the JMRL Friends of the Library Book Sale every spring and fall where they sell all types of written, recorded and videoed media for a song and dance! Okay, they do only accept legal tender, checks or plastic. Don't get excited for a few months though since you just missed the spring sale last month. I ended up with a lot more cds and DVDs than vinyl but did snag an ancient Richard Pryor album, a marginal Pablo Cruise platter and a really interesting and nearly unplayed four disc collection of seventies tunes. Can you say "Afternoon Delight" by The Starland Vocal Band? My oh my but the memories do flow back to my youthful, foolish days hearing these tunes again, most of which I had no idea who the bands were.

Interestingly, the vinyl has now become the most expensive form of media at the sale; go figure! Fifty cent cds and dollar DVDs means there's lots to choose from at a bargain price -- oh, and they've got books, too, hee hee!
