Hello,
I am seeking your advice on finding lodging for two or three nights in the DC area. I have a friend who is coming to my place from Benin, Africa for about a month and I want to be able to take him to many places. As with most of us we need to spend our money wisely.
I am looking for a clean hotel or BB in Maryland, Virginia or DC. Price and being close to public transportation for the tourist sites are important deciding factors. I am hoping that I can get one or more suggestions from you. Hilton and Marriott are out of the question, but Comfort Inn or one of its partner chains probably will work. I plan on driving so parking is another factor.
If you also have a suggestion on where to get a good dinner at a reasonable price that would be appreciated too.
We are both gay, so if you know of B&Bs that cater to the gays, thats a plus.
