World Naked Bike Ride

For everyone who's taken part, or would like to take part in the fantastic World Naked Bike Rides, which are growing all the time - 1,000 plus in London every June, and many more around the world.

The dates are starting to be set for the 2022 rides. I plan on doing at least 3 of them and possibly as many as 8-10
Can't wait to be riding nude with thousands of people taking pics and video. I am working hard to be in the best shape possible for the rides since the more physically fit I am the more people will take pics of me.
If anyone here has participated or just watched one of the rides, especially in the eastern US, Toronto, Montreal or any of the Midwest states I would love to hear from you.
UPDATE:
WORLD NAKED BIKE RIDE- SUMMER '22 TOUR
6/11/22---Austin,TX ---done
6/18/22-- Madison,WI--Done
6/25/22 Milwaukee,WI --Done (see below)
6/25/22 --Chicago,IL UPDATE- Milwaukee,WI also. 2 in one day!--Mission accomplished. 2 rides in 1 day, 4 rides over 15 days!
7/9/22?-- Buffalo,NY -I was hoping it would be that day. I was going to be in the Buffalo area that weekend. It is on the 23rd.
7/16/22--Montreal,QC-- Done -- 2 rides in 1 day 1:00 PM and 8:00PM. Did them both
7/23/22--Buffalo,NY--Had to skip it. Would have involved 34 hours of driving, plus the ride over 3 days. Just too much
7/30/22--St Louis MO --Done-- Largest ride yet in both riders and spectators but less than 25% of riders were nude.
8/27/22--Philadelphia,PA--Done
By the end of summer, I may forget what it is like to ride a bike with clothes on lol
Already looking into next year's schedule, but I will probably throttle it back a bit. Maybe to 4-5 rides, but who knows?

I did my first ride in New Orleans 2019 as kind of a bucket list thing. I enjoyed it so much I went on to do Montreal (I was visiting the Syracuse, NY area that week so took the 5 hour drive) That was great except after a week of record heat a cold front moved through the day of the ride and it was windy, rainy, and 65 degrees. I hope to do it again, hopefully with better weather. Then I did Philly. Huge ride. They said it is the second largest ride in the country behind Portland OR.
Madison is on my radar

What was the route in Philadelphia and how long was it?
Is it a pace that an older recreational bike rider could handle?

RE:WNBR 2022

The 2019 ride was 9.21 miles. I am sure that a casual rider should be able to do it. The place I was staying was 5 miles from the start point and 4 miles from the finish point so I rode a total of 18 miles that day. I normally don't ride that much, but just like working out there is something about being nude gives me more energy, although the 4 mile ride back to where I was staying was a bit rough since I had to wear shorts.
They change the route every year and don't announce it until the day before the ride. That kind of sucks since it would be better for us coming in from out of town to book a room close to either the start or finish or the route. I think the reasoning is to keep the crowds down.
I did not do the 2021 ride but hope to do this years.

RE:WNBR 2022

I've been going to the ride in St Louis since 2011 and have been fully naked at each of them from the pre ride gathering through the after party, usually about 8 hours naked on a public street. The organizers have done a splendid job and it's grown for several years. It's averaged around 2000 riders each year for the last 6 years.
The 2022 year is scheduled for July 30th. Been checking and I believe these are the dates for most of the Midwest - Chicago June 11th, Madison WI June 18th, Milwaukee WI June 25. Columbus OH is also on one of those weekends, I think the 18th so not to conflict with Chicago, but in any case, confirm first.

Meet a group from Kansas City last year, who were looking to host one there but not sure if they've got it going yet. Hope so, then we'd have a solid grouping!

RE:WNBR 2022

Looks like the schedule is starting to fill up. According to the official? WNBR website https://wiki.worldnakedbikeride.org/index.php?title=List_of_rides Toronto, Columbus, NOLA, and Austin TX are on 6/11, Madison,WI on 6/18., Milwaukee on 6/25 Montreal on 7/16, St Louis on 7/30, Philly on 8/27, and Houston on 9/10. The fact that Madison and Milwaukee / Chicago are a week apart I may look into spending a week up there and doing both of them. I have ridden in NOLA twice and as much as I liked it I do want to try other places. Toronto and Columbus are intriguing but I am concerned about cold weather. I remember snow flurries in June when I lived in Central NY State, but a Columbus /Madison / Milwaukee road trip may make sense.
Decisions, decisions
My bucket list is to do all of the rides in the U.S. and Canada, and maybe even Mexico, and be photographed nude by at least 100,000 people

RE:WNBR 2022

I am all booked for the WNBR in Austin, TX on June 11, and looking into doing a Wisconsin trip for Madison (6/18 and Milwaukee or Chicago 6/25). Got to see if I can afford it. That would work out to 3 straight weekends with a naked bike ride = Heaven!!

Why did you pick Austin over New Orleans?

Madison and Milwaukee are north of Columbus and about the same as Toronto. Are you worried about cool weather there also?

RE:WNBR 2022

I have already done NOLA twice. It was great, but I wanted to try something different. Plus my bucket list is doing all of them in the US and Canada. Madison is a week later, and Milwaukee, and Chicago I just found out a week after that. That gets into mid-late June so hopefully it will be warm. My concern was mostly with Toronto, not Columbus. The only one I am committed to right now is Austin. That is the same day as Columbus and Toronto. I suspect it may be just a bit warmer.
