Hi,
Just wondering what everyone else in the group has experienced in terms of age gap.
My first older man was 62 when we started going out. I was 23 and in college at the time. He was one of the regulars in my bar, and had always been hounding me.. "Amy, let me take you out. Come on, you need a nice dinner somewhere", etc etc etc. I sure am glad I took him up on it! We ended up going out for about a year, before he had to move to Florida.
So, how about you all?
xo,
amy

When I was 34 I went out for a while with a 17 yr old girl. Sex was great but the difference between 17 and 34 is greater than 17 years.

Amy, my girlfriend when I lived in Indonesia was 20 and I was 37. Age wasn't the problem, language was mostly, but we both understood our body language perfectly - that didn't need a translator...LOL. I have dated some ladies when I was closer to their Mom's age than to theirs... made for an interesting relationship...Younger women with mature minds are always a good match for us elder statesmen...

What do mean with a match? LolI suspect he means when a young person has a more mature attitude or an older person has a younger psersonality and they can match despite the numbers on the calendar.
Oh and hi Sofia.

Sexual relationship or not.... I was just curious. I think sex is a very important part of a dating relationship, but I know there are those who abstain, and that's certainly fine too!
These are some great responses! And I also appreciate that people are saying whether or not the "age thing" was the factor in ending the relationship.
To me, this is GREAT proof that an older/younger relationship can work out and be amazing! Makes me want to re-live my 20's all over again! LOL :)
xoxoxoxoxoxoxo,
Keep your memories coming and much love to you ALL!
