Anniversary trip

Return to Discussions

My wife and I are headed to Harbin Hot Springs for the day tomorrow to celebrate our anniversary. Itll be our first visit to Harbin but definitely not our first to a place where nudity is normal. Really looking forward to a day away especially with having been stuck at home so much because of this COVID mess.

RE:Anniversary trip

I was there last week and I can second everything in the previous post. It was my first time there, and I will definitely go back once the pandemic has subsided. Interestingly, I met three women at a campout afterwards, and they had all been there, too, and told of how it was before the devastating fire of 2015.

The thing that struck me most was how quiet it was. There are a few places where silence is required... it is a meditation retreat, after all. But even outside that, there wasn't much noise, as electronic devices (radios, boom boxes, cell phones, tablets, etc.) are not allowed around the pools. The conversations were quiet, and the overall effect was lovely.
