I am going to be riding in the Naked Bike Ride held Saturday June 11 in the evening. It sounds like a few of the riders will be at Hippie Hollow in the late morning / early afternoon hours on Saturday. Anyone participating in the ride going to be there then? I will be going at least once while there. I will be in town from Friday around 11am until about 4pm on Sunday, so may go a couple times. Hopefully I can get as many people as possible to take pics of me nude. I love it!
Went back Saturday 6/11 around noon until about 2:30. Wow! What a great place! One thing I did notice is that even though the temperature topped 100 it did not feel too hot. At the beaches here in South Florida, on a hot sunny day after about noon, the sand is so hot you can not walk on it barefoot. At hippie hollow, it is all rock and the rock does not absorb the heat like the sand does so it was actually comfortable. Water temp was perfect. Not too cool, but not too warm either. Just right to be refreshing.
Met and chatted with quite a few real nice people. Everyone seemed so sociable. All in all truly enjoyed my too brief visit to Austin and hope to return
Absolutely! Like we say here in Florida, "it's not the heat, it"s the humidity. I rode my bike to the gym in Ft Lauderdale this morning. it was 84 out. It felt warmer than the 96 Saturday night in Austin
