Travelites' first Oyster Roast of 2009 was, as all events, pure fun and frivolity. Lots of laughs could be heard all evening. We welcomed our newest member, a single lady from Columbia, to our midst. We had folk there from both Carolinas plus a GA license tag was seen in the parking area of our host's home.

The intermittent rain could not keep the oyster lovers away. The bushel was consumed in no time flat. We then went on to enjoy the eggplant parmesan, mozzarella topped garlic bread, Caesar salad, and a variety of yummy desserts. The hot tub was well-visited throughout the event. We thank our host for his gracious hospitality and for preparing the oysters.

The club's next event is the annual St. Patrick's party held this year in Leesville.
Our hosts are cooking the corned beef. So far, one dessert and one accompaniment dish have been acknowledged. Please let us know by Wednesday, March 11th if you will be joining us for this event and what you'll be bringing to add to the potluck. At the time of your RSVP, you will be emailed the directions.
