As most of you ( OK, some of you ) know, I consider myself relatively new to the whole idea of "social nudism." Still, I'm having a blast with it. This past Saturday, I went to a nudist Christmas party, courtesy of the Northcoast Naturists club, where I'm now a member. Well, it was an experience !
I got there slightly ( fashionably ? ) late, about 10 or 15 minutes.
Total attendance was about 40 or so, mostly gender balanced, couples. I counted ( that I know about, since I wasn't really counting ) about 4 single guys ( including me ) and two single women. One of them, a VERY attractive 56 year old whom I plan to chase over time, when her time isn't being monopolized by some other single guy.
I'm struck by the idea that "nude" doesn't seem to mean "nude" in many cases. Cute, admitedly, but at this party none of the women were competely nude. The single 56 year old mentioned above came closest, wearing only two stick-on bows ( you guess where ) and a waist chain with a santa face hanging from it strategically placed. ALL of the other women were either fully dressed, or at least wrapped in a sarong. Many of the men were also sporting costume. Santa clause underwear, Christmas "T" shirts, and the like. One fully dressed, including a sweater, and one fully dressed in an elf costume. Probably less than a dozen were nude, and as I recall, only three competely nude if you include shoes or socks. I had my "bah humbug" bright red Christmas hat only, and of course my towel.
There was punch, and plenty of munchies including veggie plates, potato salads, chips, dip, shrimp and cocktail sauce, and some pasta dishes. Coffee and alcoholic beverages in the next room. Not a sole soul got drunk, or even mildly intoxicated. Nice.
The hosting couple had a hot tub, which was used by a few, but most of us preferred to socialize in the house. We had a sing-along "round" which was fun, a demonstration by an English lass of the difference between Christmas Hymns and Christmas Carols. Lots of conversation and general socializing. Pretty much what one would expect at any mild house party. NO TV, which I appreciated.
There was a gift exchange, and "door prizes," and generally a good time was had by all.
Party started around 7 PM, and broke up about 11.
I'm the lucky one, as I only live about 10 minutes away, while most had an hour or more drive to get there.
I'll be looking forward to the next one.
