About bigjock99
First: anyone stealing my pics will NOT BE SUBJECT to legal ramifications - like, in which court, Belize? You can have any pictures you want.
My story: Once upon a time, I was 15 on a family holiday in Sweden swimming in the lakes and I noticed the locals took off their costumes to swim, which seemed sensible, considering what it's like sitting around in wet lycra. I dropped my trunks. It felt great, and I was hooked.
At 18 I went for a swim on a deserted beach wearing trunks and thought "What am I doing?". That was the first time I ran around nude in the sun, which also felt great.
At 20 I introduced my girlfriend to the same beach and we had many a blissful afternoon there until one day I spotted another naked guy half a mile away (that's a crowd!). It turned out it was a nudist beach. I still go there every summer,
At 33 we took our young family abroad for the first time. Belinda was right, "Heaven is a place on earth" called Formentera. Happy naked days, I adored snorkelling naked; it's the best.

Movies
No1 Some Like It - that couchette scene. No2, The Draughtsmans Contract - clever plotNo3, The 5th Element - fabulous sci-fi rompNo4, Trainspotting - a cure for Outlander.No5, Pulp Fiction - the speed bump; hilarious. And when they take refuge in a pawn shop, which turns out to be an S&M parlour. Like life, you couldn't make it up, but Tarantino did. Superb.No. 6, Romeo and Juliet. Baz Luhrmann's reinvention of the bard is fantastic, a visual treat from start to finish. From the petrol station scene it never lets up.No7. Don't Look Now. A chilling thriller, Nicolas Roeg really turns the screw and makes Venice scary.No8. The Life of Brian, if only for Michael Palin's Julius Caesar with a speach impediment in the "Biggus Dickus" scene, though it's hard to pick an outstanding moment. How sorely we need its message about religion today.No9. Easy Rider, my first X-rated film at age 14, it wasn't until I learnt about the bible belt on TN that I understood the ending. Naked swims were as normal riding a motorbike, something I finally did 50yrs later (not the skinny dips).No10. Maslin Beach, another low budget gem, I thought it was a hoot, and the real nude scenes refreshing. No 11, the original French language La Cage Aux Folles, the best farce ever put on film in my opinion.No12, The Sound of Music. Nuns, nazis, Austrian scenery and Julie Andrews; bliss.

My Heroes
My heroes are people who do things for the greater good without any thought for the personal consequences. Martin Luther is one, going up against the Pope and the whole religious establishment of the day, but miraculously surviving the death threats and trials. Edward Snowden is another; we have all benefitted from what he did, but choose to forget about him now, confined in Russia. Even "free" Switzerland wouldn't give him a home.
