About Godiva
When I was just a kid I enjoyed running around naked in the great outdoors, so I guess my nudism goes back about half a century, but I only count from 1971 because that was my first formal contact with the naturist movement. I don't entirely agree that nudism is not inherently sexual. It's like massage. You may be into it as therapy, but there will always be a sexual relevance to rubbing every part of someone's naked body. Nudism is similar. Of course, the human body has a sexual relevance, but nudists respect each other's right to safety and security, and that puts sex aside until and unless it becomes mutually desirable.

Who I'd like to meet
I try not to build preconceived profiles of people I don't even know yet, so I always get irritated by this question. A fellow nudist would be nice, but even that isn't essential.
My Interests
geopolitics, various arts and crafts, hiking and swimming, used to like mountain climbing but now consider it madness, riding, reading...oh, wtf, just ask me. I don't bite unless I have to.
Movies
Although I don't believe in censorship, I have no desire to see The Interview, because I consider it irresponsible and churlish to make a film depicting the murder of a real and living person, especially a public figure. Oliver Stone's JFK puts my stomach in knots every time I watch it. The only movies I really don't like are so called action movies, and there are exceptions to that too.
Music
I mostly enjoy jazz, but I listen to many kinds of music including classical and big band, as well as country, folk, rock and..oh, wtf, just come and have a thumb through my cd collection, or hang out and listen for a while. I play the harmonica, and I play with the piano and guitar. At one time I used to perform in musical comedy theater.
My Heroes
I consciously avoid sycophancy, so this is damn near impossible to fill out as expected, but I do recognize that there is heroism around us every day, and I appreciate people who commit those acts of heroism. I've always been intrigued by the literary antihero, and by its personification in real life. I am iconoclastic.
